Chrysanthemum parthenium (L.) Bernh.

Flora Europaea where classified as Tanacetum parthenium (L.) Sch. Bip. the original Linnean specimen classified as Matricaria parthenium L.           The 'Feverfew' is an old cultivated medicinal and strong aromatic plant used against fever which until the rising of the industrial era with its chemical drugs was never to miss in any garden of the western Old World. Its origins probably are in Asia Minor, Levant and the Balkans but it became a well established sporadic ruderal everywhere in Europe. Also there are hopes for a future use in the treatment of myelogenous leukemia. Cluj-Napoca, Cluj county, a ruderal along the verge of Romulus Vuia / Masinistilor street, near CFR stadium. dr.
